Top 3 Highlights:

-PUBG Mobile update 0.9.0 update would be most probably rolled out on October 25,
-Erangel map will now have a night mode,
-Multiple Halloween-themed add-ons would be a part of the update.

PUBG Mobile update 0.9.0 comprises a long list of changes out of which few major changes are a night mode for the Erangel map, introduction of all new Spectator Mode, multiple Halloween-themed add-ons, an introductory ‘movie’ to make the game feel more realistic, use of weapons will be made better, addition of new vehicles, well-mapped matchmaking, performance enhancement, new in-app purchases which will enable users to use customizable outfits and finally the Royale Pass missions list would be revamped. PUBG Mobile 0.9.0 update would be released in the last week of October and the closest predicted date is October 25.

Discord which is PUBG’s official channel made the following statement,

PUBG Mobile developer Tencent Games said that the Erangel map will now “alternate between day and night randomly in Classic Mode”. Night Vision Goggles, new buildings, covers, and more trees are also coming to Erangel.

The all-new Spectator Mode in the PUBG Mobile will enable players to spectate opponents after they are shot dead. As we all know Halloween in the year 2018 is shortly arriving, Spawn Island has been redesigned using a theme-based makeover that includes various props like candies, pumpkins, enemies killed by AKM Rifle will turn into scarecrows, and a spooky face will turn up after a grenade blows enemy into pieces. PUBG’s main menu will be newly designed to match up with Halloween theme and suitable background music will accompany the main menu too.

The creator of PUBG, Tencent Games, is also adding a ‘movie’ style layout to the settings in the game, but we don’t have any specific information about it yet. Talking about the settings, players can now make use of a toggle that allows them to quickly switch between scopes, adjust brightness levels in the gameplay, or customize buttons for certain dedicated actions as per the users choice.

One more feature which is the new customizable outfits ability in the in-app purchases will allow PUBG Mobile users to choose colors and logos, whereas the newly designed Royale Pass page layout makes it easier to view the weekly missions and collect weekly mission rewards.

Lastly, when it comes to performance enhancement, the new update might come up with a patch that will resolve “lag in the gameplay when players encounter with other players from afar”, which some players believe would be a fix for the rendering lag that many reported after installing the PUBG Mobile update 0.8.0 a few weeks ago.

So this was the latest news about the PUBG’s new update which will be launched in the last week of October. Stay tuned for more updates as we’ll be tracking everything about the PUBG’s new update, 0.9.0.
