Everything we know so far about the new Samsung Galaxy S10
With its 10th anniversary coming soon, Samsung is all set to release the new Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone which would be a premium flagship phone for the Galaxy range. With the Galaxy S9 and Note 9 been successfully leaked this year, The Ice Universe has again successfully leaked the Samsung’s next flagship smartphone S10 model which would come with the triple rear camera and Super AMOLED screen and would be the first smartphone to feature “Hole punch” style selfie camera.
The Ice universe refers the “hole punch” as a screen type which Samsung has already announced as The Infinity -O Display, where the screen will have a circular hole cut out positioned in the top left corner for the front camera. this new design would allow Samsung to reduce the size of the top bezel for competition against the rivals. Ice universe also leaked that the Samsung Galaxy S10 screen is rumored to “exceed 600 PPI”.
The S10 would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 which would provide better efficiency and improve the phone’s performance. further Samsung galaxy S10 would include Exynos chip in few markets which is all-new system chip for Neural Processing Unit (NPU) which would boost devices Artificial Intelligence (AI)process. The new Exynos chipset would allow the device to capture video in 8K at 30 Fps. The next generation Exynos chipset would improve device’s single core performance by 20% and improving power efficiency by 40%. The leaked information from Ice universe says that’s Samsung is planning to launch three new phones under the S-series: The S10, S10 Plus and a normal version without the curved edges which is likely to name as S10 lite as leaked by Ice universe.
So what else do we know?
The new S10 is rumored to have 6.1 inches super AMOLED display with one front-facing camera and three rear cameras on the back. further, Samsung’s S10+ would likely feature a dual selfie camera. the new galaxy S10 is expected to have a fingerprint scanner under screen backed by 512GB of storage capacities backed by the new Samsung One UI with Android 9 Pie. According to Gizmodo, the expected price range for the new Samsung galaxy S-range will mostly start with $845 with 128 GB storage and $1009 for 512 GB for Galaxy S10.
However, the Galaxy S10+ would be more expensive and would come up with the price tag of $1135 for 128GB and $1390 for 512Gb variant and $1750 for 1Tb variant. Furthermore, Gizmodo revealed that Samsung would be announcing the launch of the new Galaxy S10 by February 20 and it will go on sale by of March.
