KEY2 Battery Life Test

Nowadays, everyone is looking forward to a good battery backup. It simply means that the time included for charging should be less where the usage in that charging quantity should be more. And hence, considering this fact, the blackberry offers a 3500 mAh battery with a charging speed of 2 hours from 0 to 100% which lasts for almost 2 days. Battery endurance is of 86 hours and it has quick charge support with 47% of charge in just 30 minutes.

KEY2 Display Quality

The 4.5 inch LCD IPS screen display is totally safe in the hand of Corning Gorilla glass 3 which offers a break-proof experience which is the most essential in any smartphone. The 1620×1020p resolution screen displays a clear-cut perfect quality image. The IPS display with 3:2 aspect ratio makes difficult to watch videos which offer only 4:3 or 16:9 resolution. Sun readability is fair and gets decently bright in direct sunlight. Swipe from the right and you it will show you the blackberry hub.

KEY2 Performance and Speed

Performance has improved over the last handset, things have become smoother and quick, the hardware has changed to Snapdragon 660 bundled with 6 GB of RAM for better multitasking. Games run perfectly fine. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa-core processor pairs up with the Adreno 512 GPU to offer you a smooth gaming experience without increasing the device temperature. The conventional 6GB RAM encounters a lag free experience and faster performance with minimal loading time. The lustrous aluminum frame with the smooth rubber finish at the back gives out a premium feel.

KEY2 Camera Performance

Following up with the ongoing trend, the KEY2 is the first BlackBerry smartphone with a dual camera setup which offers a 2x optical zoom and portrait mode as well for clear high-end pictures. The smartphone features a pair of 12MP snappers with a f/1.8 aperture for the primary camera and a f/2.6 aperture for the telephoto lens. But nothing is always perfect. Even the moon has dark spots. Similarly to that, the BlackBerry KEY2 doesn’t feature the optical image stabilization. The portrait mode delivers sharper images with perfectly blurred background. The images are noise free, colorful and well balanced. However, the camera struggles during low light conditions. The 8 MP front facing camera clicks better selfies. The LCD Display flash enables you to click awesome selfies in low lighting conditions as well. Overall, the as of the first experience, the camera quality can’t be compared with the OnePlus 6 and iPhone X. But yes! It has done a great job and is always better than the single snappers BlackBerry KEY1. Dynamic range is not up to the mark and there is some noise in most of the pictures clicked with this smartphone, colors are bit saturated and contrast is high. Turning the HDR mode gives the picture a soft color. The video offers 4k with 30 FPS and 1080 with 60 FPS with no EIS or OIS but it has that inbuild video stabilization software which can be only used with 1080 resolution, it’s recommended to use a tripod in 4k to get a little bit of stabilization.

KEY2 Unique features

The unique features about this smartphone are the keyboard which has 52 shortcuts available that means we can assign different shortcuts to every button on the keyboard plus the dedicated button on the right also offer a different shortcut to different apps on the phone. And the other is the Boost Mode which we can use while charging which give an extra boost to the charging strength. The fingerprint sensor is fastest enough yet accurate to detect your fingerprints within a fraction of seconds. The BlackBerry KEY2 is slimmer, lighter and has a mature design. Handle it for once and you would wonder whether this phone really belongs to this generation. The fingerprint sensor managed over the space bar button of the keyboard just feels amazing.

KEY2 Overall Experience

The BlackBerry KEY2  is a fabulous phone and offers all the features that you would expect from a premium BlackBerry phone. The BlackBerry KEY2 is suitable for specified users who have owned a BlackBerry smartphone before and prefer using a phone with a physical keyboard. If you are eager to buy a smartphone with a physical keyboard, right now BlackBerry KEY2 will be the best option available in the market. At ₹44000, the Key2 is an awesome choice and will always be an honor for the BlackBerry fans at the moment.
