OnePlus 7 Pro shows that you don’t need to spend around ₹70k for a flagship!

Newly launched OnePlus 7 Pro
Newly launched OnePlus 7 Pro

This May 14 the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro made their official debut internationally. And most of the leaks and rumours around that phone was true. The OnePlus 7 Pro sports a pop-up selfie camera, triple rear camera setup, bezel-less design and much more. The main attraction of this phone is its display, the device has a 6.67” QHD+ 2k resolution display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Powered by a Snapdragon 855, the device has 12GB RAM with 256GB storage (UFS 3.0). And the much-required stereo speakers are here! Its price starts at 49k INR.

Xiaomi congratulates OnePlus for their new flagship taking a jab at it

Xiaomi hints at a new flagship killer 2.0
Xiaomi hints at a new flagship killer 2.0

So this one’s really interesting. What happened was after OnePlus launched the OnePlus 7 Pro, Xiaomi, on their social media channels shared a pic (find it below) congratulating OnePlus for their new flagship. The congratulations message in the image was from Flagship Killer 2.0. Wondering what’s this flagship killer 2.0? It’s none other than our Poco F2. Last time Poco (Xiaomi’s sub-brand) mocked at OnePlus as the OnePlus 6T had the same processor as the Poco F1, but Poco F1 was priced around 20k INR cheaper than the OnePlus 6T. This time too Poco seems to repeat the same which means we’ll be getting another great device that sports the Snapdragon 855 in around 20k. Another thing to notice in the image is that the letters ‘K’, ‘2’ and ‘0’ were highlighted in red which increases the possibility of Redmi K20 being the Poco F2. (Redmi K20 is un-released but leaked, it is believed to be the Poco F2 and the Redmi X)

Google admits it’s having a hard time finding a name for Android Q

Android Q is on the horizion with pretty nice logo
Android Q is on the horizion with pretty nice logo

Ever thought how android names are decided? If you look at the Android version name history from android 3.0 Cupcakes, you’ll find that they are in alphabetical order. Like after KitKat it was lollipop, followed by marshmallow, nougat, oreo and pie. You may have noticed that they are all names of some desserts, and that’s right. So basically, Google needs to find a dessert name that starts from Q for their latest Android version 10 Q. All this is because the founder of Android Andy Rubin loved desserts.

PewDiePie is coming to India!

PewDiePie smug Posing soon to meet Indian Fans
PewDiePie smug Posing soon to meet Indian Fans

So all the PewDiePie fans thank me later for this information. PewDiePie (aka Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg), the world’s 2nd most subscribed YouTuber (currently 96M subs), has previously given used many racial slurs against India and Indians. His actual rivalry was against T-series but as T-series is an Indian company, he made this fight of his against India. This proved to be a source of great subscribers loss. Well, many of we Indians are still PewDiePie fans (I’m not). Two of his T-series diss-tracks (which contained vulgar slangs against India) were removed from YouTube. Then, T-series dethroned him from the throne of the most subscribed YouTuber (and is still ahead with currently 98M subs). PewDiePie is going to make a redemption song recorded in India. The dates are still unknown but most probably he’d come to Mumbai (as he has many fans there). He may be eating some Indian snacks too including Soan Papdi, and some other Gujarati dishes.

Latest Mi Band 4 Leaks!

Mi Band 4 Leak image

The Mi Band 3 was a huge success in India. And it’s still trending. Fitness band manufacturers (Xiaomi, Huawei, Fasttrack and others) have been quiet; there are no new band launches recently. The main competition to the Mi Band 3 is the Huawei Band 4. But Xiaomi’s planning the release of another great Mi Band, the Mi Band 4. The recent leaks suggest it is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0, full-colour touch screen, no physical button, and some models will be NFC-enabled also. The leaks also suggest that the new Mi Band 4 will have Xiao AI, which is Xiaomi’s upcoming AI assistant. The prices are still unclear.
