Ubisoft is joining the game subscription bandwagon as many different companies did with it’s all new Uplay+ subscription. What is the Uplay+ subscription? Will we get very Ubisoft game with it? What is Uplay+ subscription?
Uplay+ is a game subscription service by Ubisoft with which you will get acmes to more 100 Ubisoft games including new and upcoming releases. As told by Brenda Panagrossi, VP of platform and product management, ”With Uplay+, gamers will have unlimited access to our large catalogue of games for the first time. Games like Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, and Beyond Good & Evil and other Ubisoft titles and franchises are included. Subscribers will also get access to upcoming titles including Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Watch Dogs: Legion, and more. Alongside that, subscribers will automatically be included in all betas and early access programs.

Will we get every Ubisoft game with it?
With Uplay+ you will be able to play more than 100 games from Ubisoft including the Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, and Beyond Good & Evil and much more. Plus, you’ll get access to upcoming games like Watch Dogs: Legion and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. You’ll also be included in all betas and early access of upcoming games like upcoming Ghost Recon Breakpoint beta on September 5, and early access release on October 1.
When will it launch?
September 3rd, this year. But you can sign up now to receive a free trial of Uplay+ from September 3 through September 30. Note that last date for sign up to receive free trial is 15th August. More details related to the free trial are given in the last question.
Is it console-exclusive or will it come to PC?
Notably, the Uplay+ subscription is not available for consoles and is only available for PC.
With all the games you play or download from your Uplay+ subscription, you’ll also get the premium edition of them, all expansions and all DLCs.
Any relation with Google Stadia?
Ubisoft has also promised support for Google’s Stadia but you’ll have to buy the Google Stadia subscription separately for $9.99(~₹ 697).
Can we download it to play offline?
Yes, you can download games to play them offline with Uplay+. And if you ever want to cancel your subscription and then rejoin later, all your game data will be preserved.
What’s the price?
The Uplay+ subscription is priced at $14.99 (~₹1,046) per month.
Is there any free trial?
Yes, there is a free trial. The players who’ll sign up between now and 15th August will be able to get free access to Uplay+ from September 3 through September 30. Note that, only One free trial per Ubisoft Account is allowed. To begin the free trial, you must provide a valid credit or debit card. And you will be charged the full amount that is $15 on expire of the free trial on October 1 unless you cancel your Uplay+ subscription before September 30 at 11:59 PM PDT.
