Motorola has launched two new smartphones in its pocket-friendly E series family, the Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5, the successor of the most popular phone in 2017, the Moto E4 Plus and Moto E4. And let me tell you both of these phones are capable of withstanding the competition in the Smartphone Market. The Moto E5 Plus will be exclusively available on Amazon from midnight & the Moto E5 will be available on the Moto-Hub. Before knowing about what these phones have on them i.e. the features, specifications, let me uncover the fact that the Moto E5 plus is priced at Rs. 11,999 & the Moto E5 has a price tag of Rs. 9,999. Amazing right?
1. The Moto E5 Plus
Moto E5 Plus which is also called ‘The Complete Entertainment Device’ & it is perfectly designed for viewing videos & listening songs for long hours. This phone is power packed with 3 GB of RAM & with a 5000 mAh battery which Moto claims will last for 2 days. This means that you can watch 18 hours of Netflix without charging your phone. For all those Music lovers out there, who feel that music is their savior while traveling or any other activity, once you have a full charge on this device you can listen to songs for more than 200 hours at a stretch. Coming to the professional users, they can browse the Internet for more than 20 hours in a single charge.
This makes this phone a truly Content Consumption Device with 6 inch HD Display. Such a huge battery needs a facility to charge itself quickly than expected, so living up to the expectations, Moto has introduced the 10W Rapid Charging Adapter. This helps in charging the battery faster & along with this, the phone features Moto App Suggestions which notify the user’s to kill apps which are consuming more battery and are not used by the user at given instance of time.
I’ll describe more about the design of this phone when we get hands on the device. But, this device for sure has a modern look & it competes well alongside the all glass body on the phones like the OnePlus 6, iPhone X. The phone has been re-engineered and Moto has been successful in making this phone thinner and lighter than the Moto e4 Plus.
Whenever next generation phone in any series of any Company is launched, they make sure that the Camera on the new phone has some improvements or upgrades. Moto, like any other company, has done the similar thing & has improved the Camera quality on the Moto E5 Plus. I’ll soon post about the detailed review of this phone where you’ll be made familiar to new camera features on this phone. Smarter Camera with barcode scanner & Selfie Flash i.e. Flash on the front side, are some of the features which I can reveal to the readers as of now.
2. The Moto E5
Now we’ll look at the Moto E5. This phone has 4000 mAh battery, 5.7 inches of HD Display, 2 GB of RAM, 13 megapixels on the Rear Camera, 5 megapixels on the front camera & supports the Rapid charging facility like the Moto E5 Plus. All in all the Moto E5 is tagged as ‘A Road Warrior’ and it is completely designed for rugged use & for those people who spend a lot of time on the phone.
